Wow It's Been That Long

It's not that I am trying to neglect this blog, but so much has gone on that I haven't seemed to have the time to sit and blog. The girls are doing well, and are growing way to fast. Princess is very smart, and witty. While Little Miss is a little dare devil, from pushing the chair over to the counter to climb up to get the chocolate on top of it, to getting into lotion and putting it all over her body...with clothes on. These are the things that I have been doing with my girls. Princess is loving both preschool and dance school. This past week I went to dance school and got to watch the class. We usually get to do that about twice a year. It was nice to see all that Princess has learned. She is now the oldest girl in the class at the ripe age of 4. Next year she will progress into the next age bracket all the while Little Miss will be joining and attending this class. As long as the little one is potty trained. What does that mean? She acts like she doesn't know what the big girl potty is even though she really wants to wear big girl undies. Hopefully soon. Our house is full of festiveness if that is even a word. We decorated our Chris*tmas tree right after Thanks*giving and it looks beautiful as always. We had our first real snow storm, more than that a blizzard today. It snowed buckets. As I speak Princess, M, and my Dad went to Grammie J's house to snow blow her driveway. Unfortunately we both have to work tomorrow so we need J to come over to watch the girls. M is only working a 1/2 day, but I have to work a full day. Doesn't seem that logical, but my boss just doesn't get it. What can I say.... Our Chrit*mas shopping is nearly complete. We just need to get stocking stuffers, and 2 more people, which I hope to get done tomorrow after work. Our gifts are wrapped, and now we wait for the big man to arrive. The kids are beyond excited, this should be a fun year.

Thanksgiving

Thank*giving is tomorrow, and I can't seem to understand how the time this year has slipped away so quickly. It doesn't even seem possible that we even went through a summer yet. You can surely tell at my house that it is now fall. Remember all those leaves that we raked up about 2 or so weeks ago? Let's just say that our yard doesn't even look like we even raked. M will have to go out there when the weather is looking brighter since it has been raining and drizzly for the past couple of days. This time should be it though. All the leaves are finally gone that are located in other peoples yards. Anyways, what I really wanted to talk about today was Thank*giving. Thanks*giving is one of my most favorite holidays, besides Chris*tmas of course. It is a time that we get together with my parents, and family. As we sit down and eat together at the family table, it's so nice to relax and talk. We talk about what has been going on, what we hope will go on, and such. We don't get together as much as I would like, but the time that we do spend together is so nice. This year is going to be interesting because Princesses god father was married as I think I stated previously. He usually makes our day very special because all we do is laugh. This year I am not even sure he is going to be coming over. I think he is going with his new wife over her families house. I sure am going to miss him being there this year. But what I am most thankful for is my wife, and kids. They are the most precious gifts that I could have ever asked for. My wife is so supportive of me and my decisions, and is the best momma you could have asked for to parent my kids with. And my kids, I just adore them. They are my everything. Even when there is fighting between them on a daily occurrence, I still wouldn't have it any other way. So, this year, I will enjoy my family while having great food. And after relax with them. Being together this year is the most important thing to me. I hope you all have a great holiday!

Leaves

Didn't I mention in the last post that we had cleaned up the whole yard this past weekend? And didn't I say how beautiful it looked all clean and free of leaves? Well guess what, I went out the very next morning to piles of leaves. It didn't even look like we raked and did two truck loads full. I am rather disappointed. I don't know when M should attempt to pick up the rest. It seems like the leaves on the tree that is in my neighbors yard is just not shedding the leaves at all. So it might be a while before she can do it.

Other news, I didn't mention on here Little Misses weight and height from her appointment. She weighed in at 29 1/2 lbs and 34 1/2 inches. Princess wasn't 28 lbs until she was 3 and Little Miss is an 1 1/2 tall at this point than Princess. What can I say, the girl likes her food. We decided to get the H.1.N.1 vaccination for both girls while there. They did great with it, but wouldn't you know that on Wednesday Little Miss had a 102.6 temperature. M stayed home with her for the following 3 days and both girls were placed on Tami*flu. Little Miss finally broke her fever on Friday. I would guess she picked it up at the doctors office since they don't have a well room and sick room. There was 10 children waiting in the waiting room that morning and we had to wait 45 minutes to be seen. I just don't understand doctors sometimes. Why wouldn't they schedule well visits first say from 8-12 and sick visits from 12 on. It would make more sense than exposing those healthy kids to it. The doctor did the swab and it did come back as the Swin*e Flu. Thank god she got over it quick. And thank god Princess never got it since she has bad asthma. Speaking of asthma, we are going to Boston this coming up Friday to see a pulmonologist about the asthma. I am hoping to have some light shed about what we can do to help her. She starts wheezing sometimes which leads to coughing. Coughing so uncontrollable that it keeps the house up at night. I will be sure to let everyone know how it goes. Well, I must get going. I should be working but you know how that goes.

Fall Time

Fall is here in full swing. I only really know that because when I look out the window and see the leaves falling from everyone else house and traveling into my yard I know it is here. I love to look out my window or even travel down the road and see the leaves turning, but I certainly don't like to pick them up. It's just to much work for me...not really but I feel like that. Today was the day that we needed to get going. The leaves continue to fall, and when I looked out and saw the sun shining and that the weather wasn't all that bad we took the plunge and went out there to rake, and blow the leaves. We were out there for 4 hours and we probably have another 5 to go. We must get this done this weekend because next weekend my cousin S and I are heading to another state for a few days. I won't be able to help M out after that point. So for now we break our backs and sweat like a pig to get it all done. Oh, and the acorn's, where the hell did all the squirrels go this year? They certainly didn't come around our neighborhood....

Happy Belated Halloween!

We had a great time this year with the girls trick or treating. We went to our local mall, which has become a tradition these past couple of years since Princesses 2nd Halloween. We got the kids ready for around5:30 PM and headed out. We arrived at the mall at 6 PM just in time for the stores to start handing out the candy. We did both floors and after a bucket full a piece we had to make a couple more stops. First to Grammie J's house, then to my parents house. We didn't end up getting back home until 9:30 PM. Needless to say, I am exhausted today. M's father and wife came down today to visit with us for M's and Little Misses birthday. We had a nice time together and went out to brunch. Now I am back home doing laundry and relaxing. It's a beautiful day outside and seeing the leaves falling with the wind blowing makes me want to curl up in bed and sleep.

24 Month Newsletter

Little Miss,

Another year has gone by. So much has changed in this last year, that I can hardly believe it. You started out last year with having an evaluation with Early Intervention and was only at an 8-10 month level at the time of the evaluation. You have now mastered it and no longer need it. I was amazed when they came back to see all that you knew and told me you were at a 26 month level. It just brought a smile to my face. You speech has improved beyond what I have ever thought, you have become such a little parrot. You try your best to do everything that your bigger sister does. From doing somersaults to dancing up a storm you are there in all the action. You love tools, tools of any kind. For your birthday, Momma and I got you a Home Dep*ot tool bench. You have played it non stop and know exactly which tool is for what. We soon will be in full swing with potty training. I am determined that you WILL be potty trained by the time you are 2 1/2. You will begin Pre-school and dance school next September so long as that occurs. You have been a delight to have in this household, and have truly made our hearts, and home complete. Every time I look at you especially when you are sleeping I just smile. Smile because I can't believe that you are ours, and because I know how much more we have to look forward to with you.
You have your 2 year check up tomorrow morning at the bright early time of 9:15 AM. I am very interested in seeing how much you weigh. You eat basically anything within reason unless it is mushy. You have a big texture thing and won't eat anything like mashed potatoes and such. You will be receiving your first H1N1 vaccination tomorrow along with your regular flu shot. I am really hoping that you will feel okay, because we can't forget tomorrow is Halloween. I will update tomorrow with your stats.

Tired.

Today I am tired beyond anything. I have been working late two days a week to make up some time when I am away in 2 weeks. Yesterday I came into work at 10:30 AM after a doctors appointment and stayed until 7:30 PM, getting home at nearly 8. I got up this morning at 6 AM to get myself ready and Princess ready for school. I headed out the door and arrived at work at 8 AM, and due to leave work in about 15 minutes. When I got to work this morning I said to my boss whom I am very close with that I should just get an air mattress for these long days. I couldn't even begin to imagine doing this on a regular basis. I am already counting down the days until I leave for a week. I am really looking forward to it and could use some sticky wishes!

What else, oh Little Misses and M's birthday is approaching fast. M is taking off Friday from work to spend the day with us. It should be a fun time since she hasn't taken 1 day off yet as of this school year. She still has to work 4 hours that day but still it's almost a day off. We are going to go out for lunch with the girls and then I might take Little Miss for her 2 year pictures to be taken. Soon to come Little Misses 24 month update. Be on the look out. For now I am going to go get everything ready so that when the clock strikes 3 I am out of here like a lightening bolt!

Another Day

Today was a productive day. Although it was misting outside for most of the day we really seemed to make some progress. M has been looking on Craigs*list for a new swing set for the girls, and came across a Crea*tive Play*set which retails for over 2200.00 new for 600.00 in a near by town about an hour away. She emailed back and forth with the owner to see if he would take 500.00 in cash. Low and behold he said yes, and she made arrangements to come there today and pick it up with my lovely dad. My mom came and picked up Princess at 1o AM so that they could spend the day together. She needed to go to her work to get her flu shot and then she decided to take Princess to the mall. Grammie J (M's mom) decided to take Little Miss so that I could also go look at the swing set to make sure it was something that I liked as well. We took Little Miss to grammies and headed over my parents house to help my father hook up the trailer to his truck. We headed out at noon and arrive a little after 1 PM. Of course the set was still together so that we could look at it, and after some talking the guy and his family is moving to California and we decided to offer them 450.00 and he took it. We got this amazing swing set for a whopping 450.00 dollars and just for comparison it has a 10 foot slide, a fireman's pole, room for 5 swings, a cargo net to climb, and a sandbox area underneath. The man helped us take it apart, and we all loaded it onto the trailer. It was HEAVY! I probably will wake up sore tomorrow and wonder why, but for sure it was lifting about 200lbs. (I might be fibbing a little but it was super heavy and only came apart in 2 sections) We headed home lugged it off of the trailer at Grammie J's house. Little Miss was taking her nap so we decided to leave her there and we would pick her back up later. We got to my parents house and my mom was already home with Princess. We asked her if she wanted to go with us to get some errands done like get pull-ups and juice for them and she didn't want to leave my parents. It was our time to go out and get this stuff done. We headed out got our errands done and picked up the girls, headed home and at the time of 8:15 PM both girls are in bed. It was definitely a complete day. Tomorrow we must go out and get the rest of Little Misses birthday party stuff. It's coming up fast and I want to get everything completed this weekend. Wish us luck!

Invitation

So, at the beginning of this week, I wrote an email to family and friends welcoming them to my new and improved blog. As you know I just turned 28 in September, and although I enjoy the computer very much, I am not much of a person to do the whole face*book, tw*itter, Farm*ville thing. I just don't have the patience for it, and even though it sounds tempting at times especially when I am sitting at the dance school waiting for Princess in class hearing all the mothers chit chat about the whole Farm*ville thing. I totally feel out of the loop. I just sit there listening contently wondering what I might be missing, but there still isn't a high hope that I will be joining it. I find just enough time these days to blog, check out my usual chat boards, maybe check out face*book and post a daily status, but I sure in hell don't have the time to sit and plant crops, adopt pink cows to get strawberry milk, and such. I really start to feel old when I don't have much in common with these parents, especially when I am probably the youngest parent there. I just find that my time these days is cramped with work, doctors appointments for either myself or the kids, or taking my dear grandmother to Boston for her doctors appointments. I just don't have time for these things. I have been thinking though, that to try and have some fun, the dance studio is offering a 5 week Z.U.M.B.A class that is once a week on Wednesdays from 7-8 PM for 30 dollars. I think I might just take the class. I figure the least that will happen is I will get in a little shape, make some new friends, and have a little ME time. I haven't really talked much with M about it, and I will have to make arrangements with the girls since that is one of her late nights at work, but I think I might be able to do a little convincing with my parents to watch the girls for an hour while I go. We shall see. Anyways, the point of this message was that I invited people to come and see my family. Share in the joys and not so joyous times with my family. I hope that they all have taken a look at this blog. If you have please, please leave a comment letting me know.

Well, I must get the girls ready for bed. It's been a long day taking my grandmother to Boston to have her knee looked at again. She had a total knee replacement in July. I hope to update again sometime this weekend. I will leave you with a few tidbits:

1. M's birthday is the same day as Little Misses. She is turning 30 this year and doesn't want anyone to really know. I might have a cake for her when we have Little Misses birthday party.

2. M got her CDL license and now can drive a big yellow school bus along with those Charter Buses.

3. My hair is naturally curly, and I really dislike it. Sometimes it isn't so bad, and when I get it cut and styled I really like it, but over time I start wearing it up in either a pony tail or bun. Hence the name "momma with the bun".

4. My kids are my world, and even though it is tough having 2 close in age, I wouldn't change a thing. I know that they fight like cats and dogs, but I also think that they truly will be best friends as they get older.

5. I am real fascinated with Little People, and would love to adopt a little person. I would still think about it, if my house was bigger.

6. I travel over 60 miles a day to get to work. I never thought I would travel that far for a job, but like where I work, so I don't mind doing it daily.

7. M and I have been together going on 13 years this December. It's incredible to think about it. We have our ups and downs like any relationship but at the end of the day we are such a strong couple.

8. I always thought that my kids would listen to me better, little did I know that they disobey me like the plague and practically listen to everything M says.

9. I hope my kids succeed in life. Princess is always telling me that she wants to be a nurse. I really hope so. I think she would make an excellent nurse.

10. Feeling Little Misses soft face makes me melt. She is just so beautiful, and I couldn't imagine life without her. All that we went through to have her was so worth it and then some.....

Here I Am

I thought that in most postings I don't put a picture of myself up there for everyone to see. I really like this picture of Princess and myself so I decided to show what I look like. I don't know if I have ever really said that I am a little paranoid about posting pictures of my family. When I originally started my first blog, I was the type of blogger that posted ultrasound pictures with my full name on them, used my children's first names, and then I decided to switch to word*press for a change, thought about that it might not be the brightest idea to use our real names and such, but it wasn't until I received a bad comment from someone that I didn't really know nor had I ever had a comment from this person EVER. I became that momma bear that I'm sure everyone becomes and was super nervous at who was actually visiting my blog reading my posts or viewing my children. It took me a lot to continue writing on that blog, and I eventually took it down, or better yet, set it to private and decided not to post on it. I really lost interest, and so didn't my readers. I feel rather bad, because I haven't really told anyone including my previous readers where I went. I will at some point email everyone that was reading it and contributing to my conversation to let them know that I in fact haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but that I needed a change again. I love to document my family's progress and what is going on. If not for everyone else but for myself to look back on. For those people that do read, thanks for checking in with us, and for those that also read and don't comment please do let me know who you are. I love reading other peoples blogs and would be very interested in who you are and if you have a blog let me know what it is. I'll be sure to check in and let you know that I have stopped by.

We'll try again...Pictures

So there you have it....my two most precious girls looking so beautiful!

More Fun Times And Finally Photos!

What can I say, more fun times to be had. Remember me being excited that it only cost us 306.50 for our little car to get fixed? Well, it turns out that the car was far from fixed and we ended up having to break down and take it to the dealership. I have to say that although it cost me an arm, leg, and every torso that I have, it is running the best that it has in quite sometime. We walked out of there 1300.00 dollars poorer (if that is even a word) but you know what? No car payment. That was the best thing about it all.

What else, it starting to get colder here, and I am not looking forward to the snow that I am sure we will get probably before Thanksgiving. The trees are already dropping leaves left and right, and never mind the acorns that keep falling and hitting the roof A.L.L. D.A.Y. L.O.N.G. I hate raking especially when we really don't have any trees in our yard that drops leaves, but for some odd reason everyone elses leaves decide that our yard is the best place to run to. Last year I got the best work out though cleaning up all the leaves, that I was actually proud of myself for not quitting while raking and bending and lifting....you get the gist. And to boot, I wasn't even all that sore the next morning.

What more, oh Little Misses birthday is just around the corner, and once again I am in total denial. I can't believe that another year has gone by and she is turning 2. She is a little love bug, tells on her big sister when she is doing something wrong, and has a vocabulary like a parrot. She is talking more and more each day. Actually putting a few words together to make a sentence. It's so cute to see her exploring and wanting to do what all the big kids are doing. Even down to getting her finger nails painted. My mom has a thing that when she watches the kids that she does Princesses toe nails and finger nails. Now she is starting to do Little Misses, and do they ever look so cute. She has to make sure she shows everyone and anyone that will look.

Both girls are just growing up way to fast for my liking. When I sit down and think about it, Princess will be going into kindergarden next year. I just want to put my fingers in both my ears and say "la la la", hoping that it really won't happen. But just like everything else, I know it will. Speaking of old, I also had a birthday not to long ago. 28 years has come and gone. G O D damn where has that time gone?!?

Now for what everyone is waiting for....pictures!

Well, it won't let me so I'll try again later. If you know me check out face book I'll try and post them there.

Fun Times

I am just so excited. Today I got some good news from the mechanic that we have had our car with for the past THREE weeks that it is now complete. I have been sharing cars, swapping cars, begging everyone to use their car, and finally we have our little car back. I couldn't be happier and even happier when he tells me the total for the repair is 306.50. I was hoping that would be roughly the price since I spent 350.00 on my van before this whole issue transpired. And of course we can't forget the 100.00 that we spent on M's breaks for her car also a week after my vans breaks decided they didn't want to work. I happily picked up the car and my aunt used Grammie J's car to follow behind me for the just in case. I am still in that mode that the car might just die on me when I am coming up to a stop light or something. It didn't but, I did hear some rattling on my right side of the car where they fixed the wheel bearand. I thought I must be loosing my mind. I called the mechanic when I got home and told him that I heard this rattling in the front and he told me yes that is true and all it needed was a swag something. (I can't remember the technical words that he told me at the moment) and to have M pick it up and he will put it in for us. I called the parts place and the part is 34.99. While at the mechanic today also, I asked about doing the timing belt and water pump sometime soon since the car is approaching 100,000 miles and he wants to do it Wednesday. I asked for a rough price and he is telling me 400.00. I am having a minnie meltdown. I know that once this is done this car will run another 100,000 miles....come on it's a HON*DA they drive forever but still I just want a break already. So that is where we are at. I still need to get my AC compressor fixed in my van and have my timing belt and water pump put in also. We will be looking at another 700.00 so so for that. I JUST WANT A BREAK!! It stinks when both cars are approaching 100,000 at the same time, but what can you do, you need them to get to and from your lovely jobs. So we will start working on these projects soon.
Also, I am so excited M and I are going on a date tomorrow afternoon. With free movie tickets and a 25.00 gift certificate to The 99 Restaurant. I am very excited about this. We haven't been out in quite sometime as a couple with no children. My parents are being good grandparents and taking the girls to Disney On Ice. They are looking forward to it, but I think I am looking forward to it a little more. It should be a nice time for us all. That's about it for now from our neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

WOW, It's Been A While

I'm so sorry that it's been a while again. It seems that the minute I want to write, things get busy and I just don't have time for it. So much has happened since I last posted. Princess turned 4 in August. I can't believe my first baby is now 4, going to preschool for her second year, and attending dance school also for her second year. We had a great party again for her with about 45 or so people that attended with about 17 kids also. We had a face painter there, games, and lots of food. The theme this year was My Litt*le Pon*y. Our Little Miss is also growing up before my eyes and I also can't believe that. We had our evaluation with Early Inter*vention with Miss P and the gang about 2 weeks ago and what can I say, Little Miss is an over achiever at this point and doesn't qualify anymore for the services. She is speaking like a little parrot, and although it isn't always crystal clear, we understand without a doubt what she is saying and so did the speech therapists that attended the evaluation. She will be turning 2 in October and that to me seems even more unimaginable since it seems like just yesterday I was gearing up to have her. We have attended my uncles wedding to his beautiful bride 2 weekends ago with Princess being the flower girl. She did great in the wedding and looked like such a grown up little girl. We danced the night away together, and had just a wonderful time as a whole family together. We even had family down from PA. We did a lot of sight seeing in Newport, R*I, with beautiful weather to go along with it. What else, oh and we have been spending money like it's water on our two cars. First my brakes in my van went, that was 350.00 in one week. The next week M's car's breaks went and then her car decided all together that it just doesn't want to idle right and stall. It has been at our mechanics for almost 2 weeks and he still can't seem to figure out exactly what the hell is the matter. He is having someone that works specifically on her type of car come to the shop tonight to see if he can figure it out. I am hopeful since the last thing I want is another car payment. I still have one on my van for the next 2 years why would I want another?!? Last but not least, Happy Birthday Dad and to myself. Tomorrow is my father's birthday and Wednesday is mine. Happy 28th Birthday to ME!!!!

New Hair Do

Oh how exciting. I haven't had a hair cut in like 3 months, not because I haven't had the money, but because the lack of time that seems to occur when having two small children running around. So as it goes, I can no longer be called "Momma with the bun". For now I shall be called the "hot Momma". I find myself looking in the mirror wondering who that is, because for so long I have had my hair pulled back. But this past week I turned into something else. I was traveling home from work on Tuesday, and while driving I placed a call to my cousin S. I told her that I wanted to go to the hair salon now, and get all my hair chopped off. She reassured me that I wasn't thinking clearly at that moment, and to sit on it for a couple of days and really decide if that was something I wanted to do. For all of you that know me in real life, I have extremely natural curly hair and if not styled properly it will be one big frizz ball (can we all say Carrot top?!?) So Friday came along, and I still had that craving to call the hair dresser. I made the appointment for Saturday morning at the bright early time of 9 AM. My cousin came with me for moral support, and when the hair dresser asked what I wanted done, I began to spout out all different things. Not to short, layered, highlights, can be worn curly or straight, finally just do what you think. We proceeded to color, highlight, take off 2 inches, and style it straight. It looks perfect! I am beyond excited about it, and so is M. She said she thought she was married to another woman for a moment. That made my day for sure, although Princess is still calling me "Momma with the bun" I am sure soon we will be able to change names. At least I can hope. Pictures to follow, I promise. I know that I have been saying it for sometime, and haven't but I just need to download some on to here.

Good Weekend

We had a fun time this weekend. M and I decided to take the girls to the county fair, and we had a blast there. It is one of the biggest fairs that comes around our area, and we learned of it last year. Last year we went with my parents and had a fun time, but we did have a fun time just us four. We walked around had a great time patting all the animals, watching the horse shows, and the tractor pulls. It is rather funny seeing all these lawn mowers turned into hot rods essentially by all these men. Although there was two girls riding, and it was fun to see them putting the petal to the metal. We stayed for about 5 hours or so before heading back home. We have decided to go again this weekend since it is the last weekend for the season. We will be going with Grammie J, H, D, and M. Princess is so excited for her boyfriend M to be going. We should have a fun time again since they have never been there. I will update again when I have more time. Tonight, I am exhausted. It was a very busy and mindfully exhausting time at work today. I hope for an easier day tomorrow.

Great Day!

Today was a fantastic day with both the girls. Miss P came to visit this morning like she always does on Fridays. After she left Little Miss took her nap while Princess watched a movie. When Little Miss woke up, I decided to take them to the mall to get out of the house, but most of all to get away from the humid heat today. We headed out the door at about 12:30 and headed to the mall. We ate lunch, and browsed around for a bit before deciding on which outfit I would get Princess for her birthday pictures. I decided on a Watermelon theme outfit from the Gym*boree. I really liked it, but even more, I liked the price tags on them. We finished walking around and headed out to go back home and wait for M to get home. M called me after leaving work to let me know that she was in a little traffic and would be home as soon as she could. I asked her if she would be interested in taking Princess to get her pictures taken tonight, and she thought that was a great idea. I called Kid*die Kan*dids and made the appointment for 7 PM. After making the appointment, I thought that it would be a great idea to get a picture of Little Miss and Princess together, so they both ended up in the tub to get ready. We had a fun time together looking around at all the baby stuff. It's amazing to me with all the "new" stuff that has come out within the last four years, hell, the last 2 years at that. We got their pictures done along with Princesses 4th birthday photos. I think they came out great! I have to scan them in, but as soon as I do, I will post them. Tomorrow we are heading out for the day together as a family to go to a fair that we love! They have many animals to see along with many different stands to by items. It should be a good time.....have a good weekend everyone!

Princess

My update on my Princess. What can I say about her without making it seem like she is the best child? She is an amazing little girl that is no longer a toddler but a little girl. She is turning 4 soon and I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday we were trying to get pregnant with her, then when I became pregnant we just couldn't wait to meet her. When she was born, she was everything we had dreamed of. By the time she was 6 months old she was already talking, and by 15 months was using complete sentences to tell us what she wanted. She to this day is a little chatter box (I wonder where she gets it?) and just makes us laugh constantly. She will be attending pre-school for her final year before heading on to kindergarten. I don't even want to begin imagining it. She finished up her first year of dance school, and did fantastic with it. We will be having her attend again in September. For now though, we are enjoying the summer with Grammie J and the warm weather that we have had on and off. We can't believe how quickly these last four years have gone, if only we could put the time on hold for her to stay this age. I would love it!

Little Miss

I have been meaning to update everyone on my Little Miss. She is now 20 months old. Can you even believe that?!? She is still being seen by Early Intervention for her speech and language development, but what an improvement from where we had started. When we first had an evaluation on her she was going on 12 months, and some of her milestones were only at a 9-10 month level. I was devastated, but with the help of Miss P we are improving by leaps and bounds. She is now saying more and more each day. She can now say "up please", "down please", "more", "binkie", "mama", "papa", "no", "kitty", "meow", "please" "thank you and thanks". The list goes on and on now. I was so concerned with if she was ever going to talk that I almost got this overwhelming pit in my stomach thinking about it. Now with this improvement, I feel like we have defeated all the thoughts that I had running through my mind. In about a month, we will have that evaluation again to see if she still qualifies or not for the program. This time around I will go into it without worrying what she Can't do, but what she Can do. She is such a joy to have, and each day when I see her smiling back at me, I couldn't imagine life without her. She is the best little girl that I know. Pictures to follow soon, and also a posting on Princess. Princesses birthday is fast approaching, and I can't believe that she will be 4. Yes, you read that right, 4 YEARS OLD, where did the time go?!?!?

Here I Am

I've decided to blog again, and once again move it back to blogspot, we will see how it goes. I am starting this new blog to share my life with our daughters. This journey to motherhood has been an exciting time for us. Our daughters are blossoming into little girls, and are just the joys of our lives. We could never repay the lovely donor that made this possible for us to become parents. Join us on this journey with our two girls, it's sure to be a lot of fun......
