Long Break

I have been so busy these last months that I haven't been posting like I should. Lots going on for sure. Our household is always on the go that I don't seem to catch a break.

Updates:
~Princess is going on 5....yes people 5. I can't even begin to imagine it, but in a couple of short weeks she is turning 5. She is getting ready for kindergarten and we signed her up in April or so. She is very excited to be attending, and it is full days so it will be nice for Grammie J to only be watching Little Miss during the day.

~She graduated from pre-school in June. I cried like a baby seeing her up on the stage singing the songs that she learned with all her other friends.

~She is a little girl now. She has a mind of her own and can be challenging sometimes. She loves makeup and high heals to wear. She doesn't just want play kid make up, oh no she wants "real" make up. You know the Cover*girl make up that cost 8.00 or more dollars for lipstick. Ya, that is the kind. I guess you can call us crazy for buying it, or rather yet creating a monster is more like it.

~She is a joy to have and I just can't believe that she is going to school.

Update on Little Miss

~She is a true blessing and brings a smile to my face every time I talk about her.

~She can express her needs and wants like a trooper. She tells on her sister when she is misbehaving or is being a typical sister and they are fighting.

~We are working on potty training her. She isn't as easy as Princess was. She hates being in a poopy diaper, but yet hasn't decided that going on the potty is better. We have gotten her to use it a couple of times, but nothing to brag about yet.

~She will be attending pre-school, the same school that Princess just graduated from two days a week. She is also very excited about this and I am hoping that it will help her get more focused and her listening skills will improve

~She is a typical 2.5 year old in so many ways, but I don't remember Princess being nearly as challenging as she is. She has been found hanging from the dining room light swinging. Yes, this is what we contend with.

~She is still by far the love bug of the house. She adores M like no tomorrow. She gives hugs and kisses without being asked. She tells you a few times a day that she loves you. And WE love her.

As for us:

M is doing well, working like crazy. Her office moved further away, so it is taking about 1 hour or so to get there. She is usually exhausted by the time she gets home. We enjoy our time together on the weekends especially.

For now, I enjoy this beautiful weather with my family and hope you all are doing well. (If anyone is still checking in of course :) )
